Decreasing Numbers of Animals Slaughtered

In 2014, 400 Million less animals were slaughtered. Agribusiness and meat production create more pollution (methane) and waste more water than fracking and transportation combined. The benefit to one's personal health is incalculable when less meat is eaten or a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle is chosen. As a personal action plan we could decrease our consumption of meat. Those of us who still eat meat can commit to decreasing or eventually eliminating meat products from our diet. Those who have been vegan/vegetarian can commit to educating more and more people to accept what has been working in their lives. As a group we can envision the number of animals slaughtered dereasing exponentially each year. We can also envision more & more people opting for the vegan or vegetarian diet or at least deceasing their animal flesh consumption.
